So I experimented and became a mixologist for the day trying to find the perfect summer sangria and this is what I came up with:
- muddled strawberries to bring out the flavor
- sliced peaches
- tad bit of lemon
- sliced oranges (peeled)
- I used Vinho Verde (a portuguese white wine)
I placed the ingredients in my Mason Infuser and let it sit over night in the fridge with the stainless steel lid on. The next afternoon I was thrilled with the results. If you aren't familiar with the mason infuser it has a silicone strainer and a stainless steel top that is resealable so when you go to drink or pour your delicately made creation the muddled bits and pieces won't come in to your mouth or pour in to your glass. Brilliant!
